Leonard Asper is the President, CEO and majority shareholder of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., a sports media company that owns and operates content platforms.
A graduate of Brandeis University (cum laude) and the University of Toronto Law School, Mr. Asper remains a member of the Ontario Bar. He also serves on the Board of Overseers of the International Business School at Brandeis University, founded the Asper School for Global Entrepreneurship, and is Chairman of the Asper Foundation.
He was included in Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, as well as being named CEO of the year by Playback, a media industry publication.
Mike is a sports business executive and currently serves as Director of Zone Startups Sports & Media. He is also Chief Operating Officer of Toronto Esports Club Ltd., the official partner of the Kraft Group and Boston Uprising. Prior to his work with Zone Startups, Mike managed analytics, marketing, and business operations for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Canadian Hockey League, and created hockey analytics materials for multiple National Hockey League teams. He also worked for SportsNet New York, Major League Soccer, and as a media-accredited member of the New York Rangers. Prior to working in the sports industry, Mike served as an economist for the Canadian Federal Government.
Evan earned a Canadian and an American law degree simultaneously from Queens University and the University of Detroit. He received the prestigious Canadian and American Dual J.D. program award for academic performance. Evan leverages his US & Canadian law expertise to offer Esports clients a multi-jurisdictional approach. His passion lies in assisting non-endemic brands strategically enter the Esports space for optimal success, and helping established esports entities scale their business.
Josh began his legal career at a well-respected litigation firm in Toronto. He has worked with Legal Aid Ontario, Canada Border Services Agency, and the Ministry of the Attorney General. His practice is primarily focused on immigration, business law, dispute resolution and agency work. Josh volunteers with the Ontario Justice Education Network which helps prepare young people manage the legal aspects of their lives. Josh is also an avid camper, traveller, and gamer.
Justin is responsible for connecting leading global brands with the Esports and Influencer world. With over a decade of experience in the tech industry, Justin has helped traditional companies bridge the gap and find success reaching their customers through new mediums. He has worked with the top brands from many industries including retail, sports, OEM, food and beverage, telecom, and cybersecurity. At Rumble Gaming, he can be found with both a gaming headset and work headset on at the same time.
With a background in Sports Management, Reed has helped top NFL athletes craft their online brand, in addition to consulting for Esports startups in New York and Los Angeles. He has also worked in the travel, media, and design industries, and has recruited talent for many Top 100 Architecture and Design Firms. His passion for traditional sports and the growing Esports industry, Reed now helps Rumble Gaming expand into an international Esports brand.
Nancy Rollins brings over 15 years of administrative experience to the table at Rumble Gaming with scheduling, correspondence and organization. Working in close coordination with Leonard for over 8 years now, Nancy has proven to be indispensable in all tasks while innovating successful projects to improve office support. She went to post-secondary school in Ottawa, Ontario for Sports & Recreation Management. On weekends you can find her out of the city at her cottage enjoying small town life.
Ravish is a recent graduate of the Business Management program from the Ted Rogers School of Management. Throughout his schooling, he’s worked with multiple local and international brands such as Enactus and the DMZ helping them to develop their social presence. Ravish is also a speech coach and has been an active part of the e-sports community since 2012. He now aims to combine his experience and passions to learn from the very exciting venture that is Rumble Gaming.
Carolin Rice brings over 30 years of experience with HR, Finance and Accounting. She has assisted Leonard Asper over the last 20 years with Accounting, Treasury and HR/Payroll Services. Carolin is a huge country music lover and when not working, loves spending time with her furry friend Penny.
